Discipline Code
 

A) The following acts and conduct on the part of a student will amount to misconduct:

👉 Misbehaviour towards teachers or any other school employee.
👉 Intentional disturbance of classes.
👉 Absence from classes without permission from the teacher, coordinator, or principal.
👉 Eve-teasing or misbehaviour towards girl students.
👉 Damaging or disfiguring school property.
👉 Propagating communal or caste feelings among students.
👉 Indulging in physical violence in any manner.
👉 Disobeying lawful orders from the teacher, coordinator, or principal.
👉 Bringing unauthorized people, articles, or instruments.
👉 Theft or pilferage of school or students’ property.
👉 Indulging in acts of moral turpitude.
👉 Failure to walk in line towards the left when moving between classes in corridors.

B) In case of misconduct, the school shall take action as per observation, which may involve:

👉 An oral warning to the student.
👉 Written warnings.
👉 A final written warning in case of no improvement.
👉 Suspension of one day from classes, school, or periods after three written warnings.
👉 Suspension of one week.
👉 A hefty fine and suspension for damaging or disfiguring school property.
👉 Rustication in case of grave misconduct or lack of improvement despite warnings or suspension.
